5 Outfit Ideas From Fashion’s Best Dressed

Like every party host, we get major butterflies in our stomach when it comes to pulling off an event we care about. That’s why we’re so excited to report — okay, brag — that the CFDA bash we threw with Neiman Marcus was an epic night to remember.  Between the menu at L.A.’s Terrine and the chance to catch up with our West Coast pals, we’re still basking in the post-party glow. And, thanks to our super-stylish guests, we’re also flush in cool-girl outfit inspiration (hello flowy, '70s-inspired dresses and smoking jackets). Check out a few of our sartorial VIPs below, and get ready to cop their looks for your next night on the town.

Our very own editor-in-chief, Christene Barberich, pairs her floaty, bohemian dress with covetable gold heels. Very hostess chic.
Designer Rosetta Getty plays with menswear silhouettes, layering a knee-length statement jacket over her crisp white button-up. Stacked wood heels add a party-ready touch.
A muted shift dress paired with sweet matching pumps makes for a springy take on the monochromatic trend. The gold statement bangles are, of course, a Rachel Zoe classic.
Our Swedish indie-pop fave, Lykke Li, is totally on-trend in her '70s-inspired suede overcoat and wide-legged black trousers. Retro and modern at the same damn time? We're into it.
Structural mesh? Check. Bold print? Check. R29 creative director Piera Gelardi's on-point look incorporates the spring trends we're most excited about. Add strappy red heels like Piera, or dress the outfit down with a pair of sneaks.
