Left: Feral Childe's "Teepee" print. Right: Forever21's copy.
They've called in the brigades—Change.org organized a campaign that's 2,500-people strong to force Forever21 to pull a design that was copied from NY label, Feral Childe. Forever21 hasn't really been subtle about where they pull their inspiration from, and they're selling a $15.80 tank-top of a print that's nearly a direct copy from the socially conscious brand. Started by Brooklyn designer Eliza Starbuck, the Change.org campaign might be more powerful than you'd think, with a recent one regarding the dangers of sandblasting jeans leading to Versace banning the practice in its own factories.
