It's no secret that Chloë Grace Moretz is wise beyond her years. So, when she steps out in a very adult look, we don't bat an eyelash. We do, however, take style notes.
Moretz is in Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival, where she's premiering The Equalizer — her new film with Denzel Washington. Between red carpets and press junkets (ah, the life of a 17-year-old), the actress feted Giorgio Armani's short-film project, Films of City Frames. For the occasion, Moretz (who is pictured here alongside Roberta Armani) went for a feminine take on the classic tux: a simple, V-neck top under a long-but-fitted tuxedo blazer; and black, leather pants with studded detailing.
The look is mature, but not aging, for the teenaged celeb. And, we can thank good tailoring for that. The blazer's length is slightly oversized, but it's fitted along the torso to provide a bit of structure — the cropped sleeves give it a more casual, youthful feel, too. So, Chloë, will you pass along your tailor's number? Thanks.
