Wanna Pup? An Innovative New Pooch-Sharing Service Is About To Hit Town

main
We didn’t think it was possible for S.F. to get more pooch-friendly, considering its expansive enclaves of dog parks, stores, and yes, even hotels. But, we’re surprised — in a good way — to learn about a new Fido-centric service that’s anything but conventional. City Dog Share (a similar concept to City Car Share) offers S.F.'ers a chance to clock in some time with a pet (without the commitment) — or trade dog-sitting duties with another owner.

According to the
L.A. Times,
City Dog Share offers pet-less citizens and already-owners the chance to interact and fall in love with a new pooch for free — allowing everyone to receive some QT with a cuddly canine. What's not to love?

While we admit, we think the concept is pawdorable, putting our pet’s life in the hands of a stranger does scare us a smidge. Is sharing dogs a thing now? What’s your take on this watchdog-y trend — feeling the love or no way?
