Two nights ago, at the Ray-Ban concert, we spotted Krystal Simpson rocking a rad bag, but we just couldn't figure out what designer was responsible for the creation. Well, it turns out it was her, kinda. "It's a special thing I did for Coach. They'll be online so soon!" So we weren't totally surprised when we opened our WWD this morning and got the deets on what exactly was going on. Turns out Coach tapped four bloggers, Simpson of What Is Reality Anyway, Kelly Framel of The Glamourai, Karla Deras of Karla's Closet, and Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere to design limited-edition bags. The styles, available for pre-order online May 19 (prices range from $398 to $498), tap into both East Coast and West Coast vibes—Emily's is pastel pink with a gold chain and leather strap (think Paris Hilton gone cool), while Krystal gets rock'n'roll with some serious fringe action, plus a black-and-white striped silk lining. We think it's a pretty smart move on Coach's part—the brand knows it'll def get some extra blog lovin'. (WWD)
