Color Me Bad: 11 Spring Shoes

Spring's sweetest sandals and shoes pump up the volume. By Christene Barberich & Piera Gelardi
Come that first balmy day, it's all about looking—and walking—on the bright side. While dressing head-to-toe in tangerine or pomegranate isn't quite the idea, we love throwing in a burst of concentrated pop to break up all the basics—and this spring, that starts at the bottom.
Like that first peek of daffodils and violets, our top footwear picks come in the sweetest shades of lavender, persimmon, canary-yellow, or a multicolored mix. Among the faves: The line 80%20 turned out clever platform trainers in Easter-ready purple and green, while Rachel Comey and Loeffler Randall both delivered punched-up sandals and spikes in lemon and orange. And with the bitter temps outside, these high-octane styles are like a warm shot of sunshine.
