Sustainable, organic, hand-made, grown-to-sewn in America, and sold at Barneys New York—designer Natalie Chanin's fall collection "Songbirds" has us singing, too. Inspired by her favorite folk-artist musicians like Emmylou Harris, and all hand-stitched by quilters around Florence, Alabama, Chanin's collection is a humbling reminder that authenticity in fashion (among other things) rules. Even the indigo pieces are hand-dyed by a Bronx-based priest and his team via Goods of Conscience, an organization committed to the way it used to be. Revolution!
