Creative Recreation Steps Up Their Game With A NYC Exclusive

When it comes to brightly-colored, amped-up sneakers, Creative Recreation is our go-to brand. Since '02, the West Coast-based company has been wowing us with their eye-catchingly unique footwear, which has been gradually making the move from the street to the cocktail party (and letting more and more gals in on the fun). Luckily for us, we scored a sneak-peek at two new styles that the brand has created to kick off fall '10, exclusively for Barneys New York. As part of the brand's new high-end line, The Collection by Creative Recreation, the L.A. designers are introducing three offerings for dudes: the Turino Mid in two color-ways, and an updated version of the Corozzo. We are totally digging the the tough-but-sophisticated design of the leather Turino—we've never seen those cool, hidden lace closures. The real stand-out is the high-top Corozzos, which managed to keep the the bronze pyramid stud trend alive for one more season in a look that's urban desert-chic.
