To crop top or not? That's the question on our minds right now. With over five versions available at Topshop alone, truncated tees have trickled down from runway fave Alexander Wang and street-style superstar Rumi Neely. And while these short-and-wide styles have often been filed with the ranks of cut-off sleeves and sweatbands, they might actually be a sensible alternative to the full-fledged bra shirt. But if you're into it, there's no need to run for your Ab Roller just yet. Rachel Comey's rendition of the crop top for both spring and fall 2009 incorporates high waists and layering for a more midriff-masking effect. Which brings us to the real question: What happens when the "belly shirt" is unleashed into indiscriminate hands? With that said, let us know what you think.
