When you hear the term "designer collaboration,"
Playboy
isn't exactly the first thing that comes to mind. But, the racy men's mag is trying to change all that, and now, it's kicking off a series of high-fashion partnerships. First up: edgy duo Cushie Et Ochs — the brand has been tapped to create a leather bra (harness-like, naturally), which will retail for $695 on Playboy's website.
While the designers don't seem like the most natural fit for a racy team-up, Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs told WWD they're interested in the "quintessential" brand and are excited by the prestigious fashion players the mag is working with (think Jenne Lombardo, Neville Wakefield, and the like).
The leather bra will debut today at a party for Miami Art Basel (modeled by playmates, naturally), but we've got a first look at the design. The perfect stocking stuffer for the bunny in your life, perhaps?
