Thank Us Later: Your New Fave Weekend Market Opens This Saturday

aprilslide
Picking up groceries from Whole Foods and pillows from Target doesn’t exactly scream "awesome weekend plans," does it? Thankfully, the DC MEETMarket — a new community market featuring local independent artwork, fashion, food, and music — will debut this Saturday, so you can get your shopping fix with local fare in a much chicer environment.
The market has already booked some of our favorite local vendors, including Naked Décor, Evergreen Bread Company, and DeNada Designs. If you want to sell your own wares, you can apply to become a merchant at upcoming MEETMarket events. Whether you’re shopping, selling, or just taking in the scene, we're pretty sure this is the perfect place to spend your Saturday afternoon. And hey, it definitely beats navigating your local big-box store, right?
When: Saturday, July 21, August 18, September 15, October 20, and November 17; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Corner of 15th & P streets NW (in the St. Luke’s Church parking lot)
