If your Hump Day plans are still up in the air, there's still a chance for you to do something rad tonight — today kicks off the 6th annual DCist Exposed photography show, which means you can take in tons of amazing, Washington-related snapshots, taken by local pro and amateur shutterbugs.
Should you find yourself totally inspired, you can purchase works during the show, which runs through April 1. The kickoff parties (happening tonight and tomorrow night) will feature DJ tunes and local brews from DC Brau and Churchkey, so if you can't splurge on any actual art, no one will judge you if just sip a beer and nod appreciatively at your favorite pieces. Act fast to grab a $10 advance ticket now — it's your only guarantee to get in if the event sells out (and it probably will). Same drill goes for tomorrow's opening party. So, what are you waiting for? One, two, three... click!
Where: LongView Gallery, 1234 9th Street NW; 202-232-4788. Tickets are $10 online until 11 a.m. today and tomorrow; $15 at the door.
