What were your first pair of jeans?
"My mom bought me my first pair of jeans for my 11th birthday. They were these amazing Levi's bootcut dark wash distressed jeans. It was during my tomboy grunge phase, and I would only wear them with my Doc Martens. Prior to receiving those jeans, you would only catch me in my school uniform!"
What are you wearing?
First Look: "Zara soft red cropped denim, Equipment shirt, Rebecca Minkoff jacket and bag, nude pigalle Christian Louboutins and an Iosselliani necklace."
Second Look: "Zara jeans, Marni x H&M shirt, H&M jacket, Dior glasses, Rebecca Minkoff bag, and Badgley Mischka shoes."
Third Look: "Floral J Brand jeans, Zara top, Rebecca Minkoff blazer, Sonia Rykiel shoes, and an Iosselliani necklace."
How many pairs of jeans do you own?
"The moment of truth... I own around 70 pairs of jeans."
"My philosophy is: Jeans should always make you feel slim and sexy as well be comfortable for you. At the same time, they should describe your personal style!"
Used or new?
"Both. I love a great vintage distressed (and faded) pair of jeans!"
What's your signature wash...or does it matter?
"Washes never matter. I believe that each denim wash helps create your outfit, as well as reflect the mood you're in that day."
If your jeans had a name or theme song, what would it be? Or do they?
"Of course the theme song for my jeans would be 'Bootylicious' by Destiny's Child — that's the only way to describe how a perfect pair of jeans should make you feel!"
Favorite example of celebrity-jean wearing (i.e., Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA album cover).
"Rihanna during her Talk That Talk album promo covers. Loved how edgy yet fashion-forward she was. She also explored and had fun with the denim-on-denim trend (a trend that I secretly never want to go away!)."
"I love the fit and color variations of my denim this season. Colored jeans are not only in, but they also add spice to any outfit and can turn a casual daytime look into an evening Carrie Bradshaw moment!"
