Keep The Desert Fun Going With These Week-Long Palm Springs Festivities

ace
For all you lucky festival-goers, it’s unlikely that the Coachella experience will be anything short of jam-packed dashes between stages and parties. But if you find yourself with some downtime, and are looking to chill in the desert beyond the two weekends of music madness, the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs has just the ticket.
Located less than an hour away from the Indio fiesta grounds, the Ace Hotel’s putting on its “Desert Gold: Roadside Attraction,” an annual cultural crossroads — featuring art, music, and good boozy desert fun. Catch Portlandia’s Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein’s mysterious TBA evening shenanigans, rock out to a set with Devo co-founder Mark Mothersbaugh, and shop the spooky mysticism-inspired capsule collection by menswear label Generic Surplus, and L.A. artist Steven Harrington.
