You saw the pics—Gagaish rapper Nicki Minaj sitting next to Dame Anna Wintour at the Carolina Herrera runway show on Monday. Crazy, right? We mean, not as crazy as Minaj's DIY-eque puffball dress, but crazy. Thing is, Minaj may have straight-up jacked the concept behind that wearable craft project from young designer, Jessica Rogers. As you can see from the image above, Rogers' work bears more than a striking resemblance to what Minaj wore. More than that, Coco Perez reports that Rogers was in contact with the singer's representatives about creating one of her colorful—if not exactly elegant—pieces for Minaj. Pretty damning stuff, right? Well, we think this may all be a little irrelevant since it appears that Rogers' puffball style is far from original, anyways and, thanks to her fame, Minaj now unofficially owns the look—not that anyone should be fighting over a bunch of craft-store flotsam and glue.
