Sometimes, we swear Martha Stewart has an inside track to our innermost thoughts. Now that temps have started to dip ever so slightly — and evenings are getting downright chilly — we've been craving a lightweight-but-cozy scarf in a sublimely simple, chic design. And naturally, the domestic doyenne has it on lock.
We spotted this dip-dye tutorial on Martha Stewart Living, and have gotten fully inspired to break out the Rit bottles and get to work this weekend. The Japanese dyeing technique of shibori puts a much more adult spin on tie-dye, and while we're digging this natural indigo hue, this would definitely be a crafty way to incorporate some plum or oxblood shades into your fall wardrobe.
