When it comes to heritage brands, S.F.-based Dockers have been in the duds-making game for decades. Since launching in 1986, the mostly men-centric label has crafted simple staples synonymous with California casual. Once reserved for office wear, the Levi's-owned label is seriously shifting the khaki-laden line toward a cooler crowd. And, after getting a sneak peek at the fall '12 line last night, we like what we see!
In the company's Jackson Square showroom, we were pleasantly surprised to see an array of cool new styles. Our favorite of the bunch is the Alpha Khaki, which is a straight-leg khaki meets jeans mashup that comes in a bevy of interesting hues for the cool-weather season, from rich burgundy to inky turquoise that looks like the deepest Pacific waters.
Bonus: Thanks to the low rise, slim tapered fit., the bottoms are actually kind of unisex! And we've certainly got our eye on the robin's egg blue versions... Boyfriend jeans, welcome back!
