Didn't get a ticket to Coachella this year? Come 2012, you may have better luck. Due to overwhelming demand, the festival organizers have decided to produce two identical shows on back-to-back weekends (April 13 through 15, 2012, and April 20 through 22, 2012), giving concert-goers double the chance to get a ticket. Passes will be on advanced sale at coachella.com from this Friday, June 3, through Friday, June 10 beginning at 10 p.m. PST. The cost for a three-day pass is still $269, with the option of either paying in full or using a payment plan of 10% down and eight equal monthly payments. While we're a little skeptical about how the logistics are going to work out with a week between shows, we're all for more people getting tickets and less people getting scammed, or otherwise left out in the cold. Though, knowing the usual temperatures at the festival, maybe a little cold isn't such a bad thing. (LAist)
