4 Valentine’s Day Outfits For Super-Procrastinators

Holidays have a way of creeping up on us. One second, we're celebrating the start of a new year — Champagne flute in hand — and the next, we're standing in line at CVS to purchase heart-shaped boxes of chocolates and miniature teddy bears. Can you believe Valentine's Day is tomorrow? If you're an eternal procrastinator, the last sentence may very well be news to you. But, there's no need to fret about the holiday: We put together four last-minute outfit ideas — featuring closet staples you probably already own — to make getting ready a snap. We also have you covered with tons of under-$10 and fancy jewelry ideas if you're stumped on what to gift your special someone. Crisis averted. The (Dressed-Up) Boyfriend Jeans
Boyfriend jeans look cool with anything and everything — from plain, white tees to embellished blouses and oversized tunics. For Valentine's Day, our styling fell somewhere in the middle, featuring a white, open-back top, pinstriped coat, faux-fur collar, and kitten heels. With denim as your base, there's little room for failure.

The LBD With A Twist
The LBD (which, in this case, stands for "little black romper") is your closet's saving grace for last-minute dates. To give yours a current feel, we added a pastel bomber jacket, leopard crossbody bag, and high-top sneakers.
The Go-To Leather Jacket
Your leather jacket goes where you go: Why not use it as the centerpiece for your Valentine's Day look, too? Instead of basic black, we chose a navy one for variety. Teamed with a graphic tunic — like this printed one from COS — and quirky silver oxfords, your lucky date won't know what hit them. (You know, in a good way.)
Black Leggings, Revisited
We've mastered how to wear leggings with pretty much everything. If you're channeling major lazy-girl vibes on Saturday, no judgments if you decide to slip into a pair for the evening. Funky ankle boots, a cool tee, and a colorful coat will do the holiday plenty of justice.
