Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award Winners Announced!

EDFF-1-0105
Today, WWD announced the winners of the 8th annual Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation (EDFF) Award and we're excited to see a couple of our faves on the list. Lucky recipients of the $25,000 award are Lyn Devon, Matthew Ames, Cushnie et Ochs by Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, and Ohne Titel by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill in the women's design category. Corpus, by Jerrod Cornish and Keith Richardson won for men's design, and jeweler Monique Péan won for accessories. The foundation's inaugural award for sustainable design went to Bodkin Brooklyn designers Eviana Hartman and Samantha Pleet. The award, which has been around since 2001, was created to support the careers of emerging designers. Former recipients include Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, Peter Som, Doo.Ri, Thakoon, Derek Lam, Alexander Wang, and Rodarte - so this years winners aren't exactly in bad company. Judges were comprised of execs from Macy's, Barneys New York and Neiman Marcus, fashion editors, and other industry insiders. A big congrats to all the winners. Anyone else you would have liked to see on the list?
