We Vote Yes To This Must-Try Election Day-Themed Cocktail

main
First things first, if you haven’t already cast your vote or hit up the polls — what are you waiting for? Once that part is complete and you’ve filled out your ballot, we recommend taking off the electoral edge and imbibing a bit as you watch the results pour in. And as we wait on pins and needles to see who the next president will be, there’s no doubt we’ll be stirring up a specialty-made cocktail tonight, aptly titled, Commander In Chief.
To help us whip up a perfectly patriotic sip, we turned to mixologist Michael Lay over at Restaurant 1833 in Monterey for a recipe that is not just election day-themed, but pretty tasty, too. The Commander In Chief combines Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Carpano Antica, Sweet Vermouth, Campari, Cherry Heering, and more, stirred in a flourishing glass full of intoxicating flavors. It has our vote, that's for sure! To see how to make the standout concoction, read the recipe below. Bottoms up!
