Erykah Badu will be taking the stage at The Mezzanine on August 12. Or, rather, her DJ alter-ego Lo Down Loretta Brown will be, hitting the ones and twos for the 7th year anniversary party of local hip-hop source Ankh Marketing. The big anniversary bash will then continue the following night at Public Works when DJ Questlove will also be spinning for what's sure to be a sold-out crowd.
