The Next Big Thing In Celeb Fashion Collabs: Nicole Richie For Macy’s

It's hard to have a truly bad day at work when you know you're following in the footsteps of Giambattista Valli, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alberta Ferretti — to name just a few. Nicole Richie, current Fashion Star mentor and House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate (as well as this "very nice" Courtney Love dress) designer, will be joining the roster of fashion folks creating a new line for the Macy's Impulse collection.
True to Richie's previous collections and her personal sense of style, the 24 to 30 pieces in this capsule collection will channel her ethereal-chic aesthetic. "This collection has a strong mix of masculine and feminine: printed chiffon mixed with faux leathers," Richie told WWD, who also reported that the designs would incorporate big prints and bold jewel tones.

The Impulse collection will be made available in Macy's stores this September, with expectations of flying off the shelves very soon after. But, are you super excited for the partnership, or is this just another celeb collab springing off of the newest reality show you may, or may not, be watching? Let us know in the comments. (WWD)
