Stellar Choice! Opening Ceremony’s Next Featured Country Is Korea

opening-ceremony-
This year, we've been introduced to a wave of Korean pop culture that not only made us dance, but also inspired us to keep our street-style gaze fixed toward the East. In line to do a little Seoul-searching themselves, Opening Ceremony has announced that the featured country for the '12-'13 season will also be Korea.
Focusing on celebrating a new country each year, this exciting inclusion of Korean culture and style comes at a particularly special time: Opening Ceremony's 10-year anniversary. While NYC can expect the official launch this week during Fashion's Night Out, all of us longtime OC fans can look forward to a rich infusion of Korean designers set among the collection of international labels we already lust for.

Want to do a little pre-spree research? Not a problem. Start browsing 202 Factory, Baby Centaur, and Kye, for starters. Plus, expect to see an exciting collab between Beanpole and Christian Lemaire, as well as fresh offerings from Chris Lee and Jin Kay, newcomers and Parsons grads of Korean descent who have been taken under the wing of the dynamic duo of Carol Lim and Humberto Leon.
