Among the grey walls and silver rolling rack are your credit card's worst nightmare, aka rows and rows of clothing, shoes and accessories majorly marked down for the Barneys' New York Warehouse Sale. We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak yesterday and have already made a laundry list of lust-worthy items that have been slashed to half, or even a third their original price. Among our favorites were luxe furs by Marc Jacobs ($399, from $1350) and Lutz & Patmos ($399, from $1595), sexy asymmetric dresses from Felicity Brown ($1079, from $4335) and Lanvin ($1389, from $3475), a tribal-patterned cropped jacket by Pendleton for Opening Ceremony (marked to $279), and modern slingbacks by Marni ($369) that were begging to be ours. Plus countless jeans are marked as low as $49 and towering racks of discounted boots will keep us very happy while we wait for spring sandals to arrive. Barneys is also pleased to say goodbye to bare-it-all-in-public try-ons, and announce that they will finally offer private fitting rooms! The sale officially began today and we haven't been so excited to wake up bright and early since the first day of New York Fashion Week (although that was just last Thursday).
