As we told you, Bloomie's is a brand-new retail beast, and we've asked Leandra Medine (aka, The Man Repeller) to take it 'round the block for a test drive. Sitting in the passenger seat and playing dress-up doll to Ms. Repeller's professional stylist is her friend (and victim?), Molly. But Leandra's spot-on picks — which included pieces by Sandro, Maje, Tibi, Milly, and more — almost took second billing to another find — stylish, designer-themed dressing suites have replaced the changing rooms of old. Our girls tried on both the brash and colorful Alice + Olivia room as well as the very different, stylishly stark Akris Punto pod. In-between runs to the racks for printed pants, they came across yet another unexpected discovery — an in-store, first-floor Magnolia Bakery. Sugar rushes followed, naturally.
