With only one major summer holiday remaining in our sights, we've made it our mission to make sure we celebrate with a bang. The 4th of July (Wednesday, ya'll) promises many splendid things— family and friends, cold drinks, hotdogs, a sparkler or two, and of course, some red, white, and blue dressing to stay extra festive. But, at the way top of that lovely list, has got to be the fireworks.
While it doesn't take much to have us ooh-ing and aah-ing alongside the youngsters, we have to admit that nothing puts a damper on the outting like a long line or scarce sitting space. With that in mind, we're going to hit up the shortlist our buds at LAist put together of the best places in Los Angeles to see the splendor in the sky. Whether it's the all-day Independence Day event at the Pacific Palisades or the Super Bowl-style pyrotechnics at the Rose Bowl, there's no shortage of mega-watt ways to throw down for America.
So, pack up the picnic blankets and be sure to charge your iPhone — we're pretty positive these displays will be Twitpic-worthy. (LAist)
