Frida Kahlo was an amazing artist (and undeniable style icon) but how much do you really know about her, beyond the paintings? For the first time, a collection of her personal photographs — images which have been sealed away in storage for more than half a century — will be put on display, and Artisphere in Arlington is the only place in the U.S. where you can see them.
Frida Kahlo: Her Photos
will be on display until March 25, and the exhibition kicks off on Thursday with an opening party in Artisphere's Terrace Gallery. We can't wait to throw on something colorful, maybe pin some bright flowers in our braids, and see what one of the most iconic female artists of the 20th century snapped in her free time. And if you're a little bit less clear on your outfit of choice, we've got you covered, too.

So, pull together this colorblocked look, and we'll see you on Thursday. At the very least, we'll all leave inspired, and wondering what future generations will think of our Instagram feeds.
