Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years — an entire generation — since GUESS’ original, three-zip Marilyn jean put their mark on fashion forever. To celebrate, the brand is going back to its roots with a new campaign featuring the star of its classic ads, Claudia Schiffer, and releasing a limited-edition line of updates on their iconic pieces. To join in the festivities, we snapped 30 of our favorite fashionable friends wearing the vintage-inspired 30th anniversary collection and asked them what GUESS means to them. Thirty women, 30 days, 30 sexy years of GUESS.

Name: Talia Fabrizio
Ten-second bio: "With two elegant and stylish Italian parents — and I mean stylish as in a leather-pants-and-stiletto-shoes-wearing mother and a custom-made-Italian-suit-wearing father — there was no doubt I’d follow in their style steps. I was already dressing up in my mother’s clothes at age three, then I tried to start my own fashion magazine at 10, did a modeling stint during college, and wound up working New York Fashion Week and taking fashion safaris to Europe’s trendiest cities. It was only natural that my journalism/marketing degree lead me to start a style blog."

Favorite ‘80s memory: "Being born? Well, besides that, it would be the first time I went on an airplane. My parents, who were quite up on the trends themselves, made sure that I was just as dapper even at the age of four. I had on a little blue dress with folded-over lace socks and white buckled shoes, and I carried my doll, Allison, who was equally as stylish in my hand-me-downs and a hot-pink scrunchie that held her hair in a sideways ponytail."
Favorite GUESS memory: "Ooh, that’s a toughie! I was so young during the ‘80s. But I did receive a GUESS stationary notebook in the '90s when I started my GUESS obsession. It was so chic and every few pages there were black-and-white GUESS campaign photos. It was so darn pretty that I never wrote in the notebook so as not to ruin it. To this day, not one drop of ink has hit those pages."

Favorite returning ‘80s fashion trend: "Neon, neon, and more neon."
