But even in the most intense moment of materialistic gusto, we've got to pause and recognize iconic figures who've dealt with real-world challenges through politics, literature, and science...and yeah, maybe have a touch of cool style to boot. From Nelson Mandela's eclectic prints to Aung San Suu Kyi's serene color palette, there's a street-chic lesson to be learned from these these Nobel Prize winners. And even though President Obama didn't make our best-dressed list this time around, we salute his accomplishments (we just hope he'll bust out a crazy tie or two during his term).
