Get A Wild Workout Under The Full Moon This Friday!

griffith-main
Woohoo! We've just about survived Hump Day, and if you're anything like us, your inner weekend warrior is desperate to start planning her escapades. Well, to give you something to look forward to, we thought we'd share a little known fact for some interesting Friday fodder. Once a month, on the Friday closest to the full moon, the Sierra Club leads lunar hikes through the mountains of Griffith Park. Take it from this night-trekker, there is nothing more profound than immersing yourself in nocturnal nature to forget the week's woes. Pack your pooch, a potluck item to share pre-trip, or even a suitor you've been plotting to snuggle (he'll instinctually go there when you get spooked!). Oh, and did we mention your tax dollars already paid for this trip? God bless America!
When: This Friday, January 6, 6:45 p.m. to (approximately) 9:15 p.m.
Where: Meet at the Upper Merry-Go-Round Parking Lot in Griffith Park, 4730 Crystal Springs Drive (Near Los Feliz Boulevard); 323-913-4688.
Photo: Via the Sierra Club.
