Get Your Java Fix at Berkeley’s First-Ever Coffee and Tea Fest

Caffeine addicts, listen up! This Saturday, you’ll get to sip and savor the comforts of your favorite morning brew (and explore new ones!) at the first-ever Coffee and Tea Festival. As the acclaimed birthplace of the foam-filled and frothy latte, there’s no better place to celebrate our love for rich blends of coffee beans and tea leaves than our beloved Berkeley nabe. Going down at the Shattuck Hotel, the fest will allow java fiends to explore more than 30 different purveyors of coffee and tea, watch a Japanese tea ceremony in action, and hear a panel discuss how to brew the perfect cup of Joe. Needless to say, we’re wired up about this one!
When: Saturday, September 24, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: The Shattuck Hotel, 2086 Allston Way (between Shattuck and Milvia streets), Berkeley; 510-845-7300.
Price: $20; $15 for Facebook friends of the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce
