They've recently teamed up with Nicole Richie to offer a sale of her House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate spring lines. The rub? All products will be full-priced, much like the much-hyped Mulberry and Tucker by Gaby Basora for Target collections they pre-sold before they entered actual stores. But do Nicole Richie's lines have the same hype as those already cheap collections? Gilt is confidant that its 3 million visitors are going to be into Richie's wares, and has even created a special section called "Nicole's Picks" where shoppers will receive a gift-with-purchase if they buy one of those items. You've got to be one big deal to create frenzy with full-priced items that don't have much buzz around them to begin with... let's see if the Gilt Gods can pull it off! (WWD)
