We're shoe-aholics, so it'll come as no surprise that we're huge fans of TOMS, the label that matches every pair sold with a donation of shoes to a child in need. Millions of children worldwide don't have access to footwear, which puts them at a constant risk for infection and diseases. So, on April 5, we're amped to ditch our Pierre Hardys for TOMS' One Day Without Shoes, which aims to raise awareness of the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child's life. We dare you to put yourself in someone else's (lack of) shoes and go around barefoot for a day to experience the difference that a pair of shoes makes—walking without protection in the subway should put it all in perspective. This is a cause we're excited to get behind, so make a fashion statement and join us by going barefoot come April 5!
