February is here! Valentine's Day, Fashion Week, and the Super Bowl make this possibly the best (and craziest!) month ever. And, as if New Yorkers needed yet another reason to jump for joy, today also marks the centennial celebration of our beloved Grand Central Terminal.
For the occasion, Grand Central shops and restaurants are turning the clock back — way back — by implementing 1913 prices on this one momentous day. That means 19¢ shrimp at Pescatore, 5¢ small drip coffees at Financier Patisserie, 10¢ gelato at Ciao Bella, and so many more penny-saving (literally) finds. Looks like we know where we'll be heading for lunch. (Gothamist)
