You’re Invited: The Hamptons’ Coolest Pop-Up Shop’s Opening Weekend Blow-Out!

Looking for unique artist-designed objects, like tire swings, tablecloths, boom boxes, and beyond? Well, you’re in luck because Refinery29 is teaming up with Grey Area, a new online store, to exclusively invite you to their Hamptons Pop Up & Experience! Located in the private luxury car garage of Old Stone Boys Club in Watermill, NY, the event is hosted by Grey Area’s founder/designer/collector/arts patron, Kyle DeWoody and Artlog’s co-founder and NBC New York contributor, Manish Vora. This experience is anything but ordinary, featuring seriously unique offerings—think a towel by Ed Ruscha, hand-painted tablecloths from Ruffian designer Claude Morais, bandaid rings created by Michelle Lopez, and a cast resin fake Rolex courtesy of Shelter Serra, among so many others. And don't you know we got the hookup for you to both the VIP opening cocktail celebration on Friday, July 22, and the all-day shindig on Saturday. Music, food trucks (Jen 'n Outlaw's Fish Fry Truck with crawfish boils and catfish po'boys), and a kissing booth will also be on hand, meaning Sarah Kurz, a.k.a. “The Kiss,” will be offering kisses in addition to chap sticks and tote bags. The event will continue everyday until Sunday, July 31, with events every weekend, so you can enjoy stress-free days of shopping from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for collector's items and chotchkies to give your home some creatives'-approved art cred. We just booked our Jitney tickets.

VIP cocktail reception, Friday July 22 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m; Opening all-day shindig, Saturday July 22, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m; Pop-up open July 22 through Sunday July 31, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Old Stone Boys Club, 98 Montauk Highway, Watermill; RSVP here.
