A Grown-Up Advent Calendar For Design Dorks

advent-calendar-2
Most of us remember being gifted a flimsy cardboard advent calendar at some point in years past, after a November trip to the grocery store, and waiting on the edge of our kiddie-seats for the days to change so we could eat yet another stale chocolate square. Anyone who looks back at that patently non-exciting tradition with fondness knows the power of suspended surprises, no matter how small they are.
For us grown-ups, Project No. 8 has a slightly fancier advent calendar created by designer Laura Väinölä and her friends Kaarle Hurtig and Linda Bergroth, that will help you design the miniaturized living space of your dreams. We're not going to reveal all the surprises (one for each day in December!), but we will tell you that the whole thing retails for $37.50, and is available at Project No. 8.
