Gucci Has Bought A Horse, Named It Guccio

With horse-bits, saddle bags, and riding boots as part of its DNA, we can easily make the argument that if the stable of luxury designers is a fifth-grade classroom, Gucci was definitely the girl who doodled horses during reading time and play-acted show jumping during recess. But this last move really took it to a new level; Gucci just bought a stallion.
Named Guccio (after founder Guccio Gucci — really), the horse is currently residing in horse-jumper and Gucci muse Edwina Alexander's stables in Holland, and is apparently ace enough to try for the Olympics. And if they do go to the Olympics, Guccio is pretty much guaranteed to be better dressed than these guys. (WWD)
