Having a mum who works in fashion certainly has its perks — especially if you're an eight-year-old with a fondness for skinny jeans, Marc Jacobs, and Chloé.
As such, who better than the adorable spawn of fashion designers Melissa Odabash, Georgina Goodman, Suzanne Clements (of Clements Ribeiro), and Emily Evans, plus Miki House Boutique director Nadege Gallas, to test-drive the designer childrenswear offerings at Harrods?
While many of the tykes go weak for Jacobs' mouse flats and mini Isabel Marant-style booties, not all of the stylish mamas indulge that passion for fashion.
"I make a point of not bringing her to our shows," Clements tells the Telegraph of five-year-old Violet. "I don't want her to be fashion-obsessed."
But, while Violet may favour Bonpoint and her 14-year-old brother's hand-me-downs right now, she and the others have quite the designer score in store, with their mums saving Balmain jackets, couture Dior gowns, and Chanel handbags for their little girls. Is it too late for us to be adopted by one of these women? (Telegraph)
