Happy Mothers' Day! Long gone are the days of Donna Reed timidly dusting and cooking dinner for Pop and the kids whilst wearing a full skirt. Moms have been reinvented, and they are more smokin' and stylin' than ever. This Sunday, make sure to give your mom a big wet one as you pick up the tab for brunch (terrifying, we know). We've had mamas on the brain this week, so we're bringing you a list of the most marvelous matrons around.
Carine Roitfeld: The French Vogue editor-in-chief just may be our fave (gasp/cower, did Anna hear that?). Her painfully hip, slinky and mussed Parisian style oozes from the pages of her fashion tome, and yet she still has time for lunch with the kiddies. We just wish our mom would work some Alaïa and Balenciaga.

Diane von Furstenberg: This fab designer is as hot and relevant today as she was in the '70s when she introduced us all to the wrap dress. As a mother of two she really blew our minds when she graced the cover of Purple magazine this year showing off her stems and a hairy Margiela coat.
Joan Crawford: Ok, so she may not win the Mother of the Year award, but this diva didn't save all the drama for on-screen. Her notorious private life is as famous as her cinematic, grande and downright glamourous screen persona (with cinched-waist, broad shouldered outfits to match). And we think she's just misunderstood, she just didn't want Tina messing up her pretty little dresses with some janky wire hangers. Totally understandable, no?
Rachel Hunter: You may know her as ex Sports Illustrated model and ex-wife to rocker Rod Stewart, but indie kids and, well, dudes everywhere will probably remember her as the hose-spraying, car-washing MILF in the 2003 Fountains of Wayne hit, "Stacy's Mom."
Angelina Jolie: So what if she's the home wrecking, huzzy-stealing, tabloid-whoring, vampirish other to the hottest man alive? She's ostensibly adopted half of the third world, appeared on the cover of W breast-feeding, and she's hot!
Kate Moss: So she may not be everyone's idea of world's best mum but Moss has an impenetrable career in the modeling world. And she can wear a gold turban. And she can make it work.

Cate Blanchett: When we aren't secretly loathing Cate for seemingly having it all (gorgeous face and figure, fashion forward yet stylish, breathtaking career and divine home life), we are drooling over her impeccable sense of style. Whether she's wearing a jeweled McQueen number or a striking Gareth Pugh suit, just know that she still goes home and gets baby vomit in her hair.
Mrs. Robinson: Hot and over-the-hill—No mom was ever bitchier and badder in leopard and the sack than Anne Bancroft's super nasty-sexy Mrs. Robinson. When Nichols made her, they broke the hot-mom mold.
Diane Lane: Sure, she totally lies, cheats and commutes her way into the arms of another man as her alter-ego Connie Sumner in Unfaithful. But the fact that she's so darn sexy whilst getting naked with her young paramour kind of makes it okay. Plus she gets back in Connecticut in time to make dinner.
Beverly D'Angelo as Ellen Griswold in Vacation: Nobody rocked a big blonde bouncy 'do and sexy lingerie quite like Beverly D'Angelo in Vacation. Poor Audrey! Every teen-age girl's worst nightmare...
