We’re Digging Illesteva’s New Retro Sunglasses

We're a little bit obsessed with finding the right sunnies. So hallelujah for these new Albert frames from Illesteva, the line that always gets snapped on the bridges of the fantastically hip girls we're always channeling. The Albert, which is handmade in France, is inspired by the 1970s French cinema film "La Cage aux Folles." While it doesn't have the rhinestones bedazzling Albin Mougeotte's original piece, we're equally smitten with the more discreet thick chic frames. And because it's made with CR29 lenses (which are lightweight compared to glass, have better UV protection, and less likely to shatter), they stand a much better chance of lasting than those cheapo $20 ones you picked up on a Soho sidewalk.
Illesteva Albert Frames, $280, available at Illesteva.
