Snag Some Fair-Trade Flair At D.C.’s First Indego Africa Trunk Show

banglesslide
We're longtime fans of non-profit Indego Africa, a fair-trade organization that empowers female artisans in Africa by selling their handmade accessories and home decor items online and in boutiques across the country. With roots in Washington and a collaboration with Nicole Miller under their belt, the folks at Indego Africa have hit the sweet spot at the intersection of cultural and cool. On Thursday, you can check out the goods in person at the first-ever D.C. trunk show, which will highlight the soft knit scarves, woven platters, brightly-hued coasters, and more. We're already crushing on the so-perfect fabric-wrapped bangles — who's in for an arm party for a good cause?
When: Thursday, December 1, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1111 11th Street NW; call 412-997-0602 upon arrival.
