From Kentucky farm girl to warrior gal in the fictional country of Panem, actress Jennifer Lawrence has left her roots, literally, and darkened her blonde locks to play the role of Katniss Everdeen in
The Hunger Games
. The actress reveals her new brunette look along with tawny skin and a super-toned physique fit for a bad-ass fighter on the cover of Entertainment Weekly hitting stands tomorrow. Lawrence, who has admitted that she feels more comfortable playing indie roles, tells EW that she has more in common with the heroine than just her physical appearance. "[Katniss] was a girl who's all of a sudden being introduced to fame. I know what that feels like to have all this flurry around you and feel like, 'Oh, no, I don't belong here.'" We beg to differ, Miss Lawrence. An Oscar nominated actress at age 20, we'd have to say, she does belong here. (E)
