It's been revealed that John Galliano's Jewish lawyer of seven years, Stephane Zerbib, will represent him in court. Galliano's drunken anti-semitic remarks had few people willing to take pity on the fallen designer, but Zerbib asserts that people do not know the full story. "Some people call me anonymously, swear at me," he says. "There are always those people who make a fuss but it's very easy to judge without knowing the case. [...] It could happen to any one of us. Anyone can go to a bar, drink a little and get into a fight with someone." Zerbib blames Galliano's racist statements on mixing alcohol with medications. As for the video where Galliano proclaims that he "loves Hitler", Zerbib says that it "is worth nothing. [...] It's not in the trial for a reason]." (YNet)
