While you're taking notes on designers to watch in the midst of Fashion Week, we've got a label you'll want to commit to memory — along with some awesome sartorial news for the DMV. The name to note? Julia Jentzsch. Turns out, the up-and-coming German designer's eponymous womenswear collection is now sold exclusively in the U.S. at Relish in Georgetown.
Jentzsch's design cred is extensive: She's worked for Jil Sander (you can instantly spot the chic minimalist influences in Jentzsch's pieces), as well as Yves Saint Laurent under Alber Ebaz, Tom Ford for Gucci, and even as the design director for Calvin Klein in the early 2000s. With a resume like that, we're nothing short of elated that we now have exclusive access to her sophisticated fall collection in the District. You can expect luxurious, modern, tailored separates, and just the type of crisp, menswear-inspired items we're craving. So run, don't walk, to Relish to check out the items in person — because the only other place in the world you can do so is Japan. How lucky are we, D.C.?
