There are plenty of fantastic offerings here in S.F. In fact, we feel silly complaining about any slight shortcoming, but, if we had to be frank — we could use another cool hotel or two. Sure, there are the classics (The Fairmont, The St. Francis, The Huntington Hotel), but what some swanky, off-the-cuff digs?
Well, when we found out that Mid-Market's Renoir Hotel was getting a much-needed revamp by L.A.’s Kor Group, we knew our prayers had been answered. According to Curbed, the project will be led by developer Brad Korzen, who just so happens to be married to mega design star, Kelly Wearstler. You might have guessed what's coming next: These new digs will be completely designed by Wearstler herself, Carey Lowell to Richard Gere style. The hotel is yet to be named, but we do know that it will include a…wait for it….rooftop bar. Yup, we just died and went to hotel heaven. Staycation, anyone?! (Curbed SF)
