Exotic jewelry lovers, listen up! This Thursday, the L.A.-based jewelry line, Kora, will be hitting up Erica Tanov’s S.F. shop to showcase its latest fall collection of gorgeous African-made bips and bops. Handcrafted with recycled materials by glassmakers in a Kenyan village, the new collection features an array of glowing icicle-drop-like pendants and necklaces that are sure to sparkle at all of your upcoming holiday parties. “Glass necklaces still have an organic feel, because every piece is different,” explains Amy Walker, co-founder of Kora (which means "work" in Kinyarwanda, a language native to Rwanda). Brainstorm your Qs for the designer now, because she'll be at the shop on Thursday with fellow founder Maxandra Short. The trunk show will be fully stocked with their designs, so come peep the collection and greet the folks behind it!
When: Thursday, October 20, 4-9 p.m.
