L.A. Helps Tsunami Victims With Two Outstanding Events Today

In light of the recent tragedy in Japan, the American Red Cross Japan Tsunami Fund is holding two fundraisers today to help out those affected by these terrible events. From 5 a.m. until 7 p.m., former Dodger Bobby Castillo, Kenny Landreaux, Rudy Law, Al Ferrara, Jimmy Campanis, and Derrel Thomas as well as a few personalities from KNBC-TV Channel 4 will be at Dodger Stadium to receive monetary donations of cash and checks. Anyone who gives $20 or more will receive two tickets to an exhibition game that will be played later on in the month. All checks should be made American Red Cross with "Japan Tsunami Fund" in the memo line. And for those of you who prefer entertainment to sports, over at the Laugh Factory, funnymen Kevin Nealon, Tommy Davidson, Tony Rock, Jeremy Hotz, Jackson Perdue, Paul Ogata, KT Tatara, and Paul Rodriguez will be taking the stage at 8p.m for “Stand Up For Japan”, a night of laughter with all proceeds from the ticket sales being donated to the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region.
