Chowing down in S.F. is no easy feat — the options are almost too overwhelming. But if you ask us, nothing beats a little grubbin’ at classic, go-to spots like French bakery La Boulange. In fact, we’re kind of obsessed with it here at R29 S.F. So, obviously, we're super excited about a very sweet deal that's kicking off today.
Head over to La Boulange’s mother bakery on Pine Street, where you can score a seat at a family-style dinner for only $20. Inspired by the last round of communal dinners hosted by the mini-chain (with proceeds benefitting charity), this event is a fun way to meet friendly S.F. folk while you get your grub on. Good eats for a good cause? Count us in!

The prix-fixe menu runs tonight until Sunday, March 25, and features everything from yummy roasted chicken to mouth-watering pizza. And for $20 you're pretty much guaranteed to leave full and happy! The dinner includes an entree, side, salad, La Bougie's famed bread, and dessert. Worked up an appetite yet? Well, be an early bird about it, because the dinner only seats the first 20. Communal dining never sounded more enticing, non? Bon appétit!
When: Wednesday through Sunday, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: La Boulange, 2325 Pine St (between Steiner and Fillmore Streets); 415-440-0356.
