Rad Or Bad: Would You Put These Lace Stickers On Your Face?

You know how sometimes you're doing your makeup and you look in the mirror and just think, blah? Like, something is missing and you just don't know what? And then, you think to yourself, "Gee, you know what would make my makeup look so much better? If I glued a piece of lace to my face!" Yeah, us neither.
And yet, such a thing exists: Created by makeup artist Phyllis Cohen, Face Lace is a line of stick-on designs that create the appearance of lace adornment on your visage. Made of a thin vinyl with hypoallergenic adhesive backing, users simply peel off their desired designs and stick them onto their faces.

While we see the obvious appeal for Halloween, we're not quite sure when else one would wear these. Granted they are pretty affordable at $15 to $27 a pop, but it would feel pretty wasteful to only wear them once.
Practicality aside, there is no denying the beauty of these intricate decals — which is why we were not-at-all surprised to learn that Cohen has worked with such pop-culture luminaries as David Bowie and Annie Lennox. We can totally see Bowie rocking one of these in his Ziggy Stardust days — hell, we could see Bowie rocking one of these to go pick up his dry cleaning.
Sadly (believe us, we've lamented this fact more times than we can count), we are not David Bowie, so we're having a hard time justifying buying the Sweettart Demi-Veil or the Fleurty Eyelace, since we know they would probably just sit forlornly on our vanities once All Hallow's Eve came and went. Guess we'll just have to wait for Gaga to sport one and live vicariously through her. (Coco Perez)

But what about you? Would you lace up your face or is this strictly a costume-party purchase?
